Peanut Butter Brownies
These peanut butter brownies are the perfect balanced afternoon treat! There is no better combination than peanut butter and chocolate!
- 1 pkt Bob's Red Mill GF Brownie Mix
- 120g butter, melted
- 3 eggs
- 1/2C Bob's Red Mill Cooking Oats (Omit for GF)
- 3/4C Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1/2C Maple Syrup
- 40g butter, melted
- 1/4tsp salt
- 1/4C peanuts, chopped
Preheat oven to 170C. Line a 22cm square baking pan
Place brownie mix in a large bowl. Add butter, eggs, oats and mix with an electric mixer on medium speed until just combined.
Spread batter in prepared pan and set aside.
In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, maple syrup, butter, vanilla, and salt. Mix well.
Place large dollops of peanut butter mixture across the top of the brownie mixture. Run a butter knife through the peanut butter and brownie mixture to incorporate the mixtures for a swirl patter.
Bake for 25 minutes of until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool before slicing.
